About Us

Comp-U-Count is a small family run accountancy practice that has been running for over 35 years in various capacities. We have been trading as Comp-U-Count since 1997. After several years, Comp-U-Count merged with another family run practice known as MK Bookkeeping  and Accountancy with Peter Smith becoming a junior partner alongside his Mother Jacqueline Errington-Smith as Senior Partner. These days, Peter is now partnered with his wife Terri, after the sad passing of his mother and matriarch in 2017. Now working together, Peter and Terri strive to  continue to provide a wholesome, hardworking family accountancy practice. Comp-U-Count has evolved with the ever-changing world of Accountancy and Finance into a mobile accountancy practice, ensuring to adapt with changing demands and client needs. We undertake a wide variety of accountancy services including self-assessments, tax advice, Making Tax Digital, VAT returns, CIS returns, Payroll requirements, Partnership accounts and returns, Limited Company accounts, corporation tax and Companies House Registrations. We pride ourselves on being flexible and adapting to the needs of our clients. No job is too big or too small.
